Two journalists born in the mid '80s decide to take a look back at how their country changed in the last 30 years since the fall of communism. The end product is a documentary containing footage of political events and historical milestones significant to Romania accompanied by a narrator's voice walking the viewer through the events, and also interviews with Romanian politicians and other influential public figures sharing their thoughts and their different views on those events.

As so many times in the last 35 years, we are once again faced with a difficult choice. In our fragile democracy, searching for a president in a pool of candidates far from living up to the office has never been easy. But it becomes even more complicated if we take a good look at Romania today – a country of wasted hopes, mistrust and apathy. Whatever his name will be, the new president is, inevitably, the consequence of a decade not yet finished - the Iohannis decade.

After several years in which Justice has almost completely disappeared from the public agenda, Romanian society has woken up to a difficult reality, in which high-level corruption cases are systematically buried. Famous defendants acquitted on appeal after receiving heavy years of imprisonment in the first instance, trials delayed until the acts reach the statute of limitations, final convictions that are re-evaluated and wiped clean. In addition, suspicions have begun to hover over the DNA regarding the blocking of criminal investigations.
