Assigned to protect a small town in Vietnam, Dao arrives to fight against the crime boss; but soon his past catches up with him, threatening to destroy the cherished village.

"The Third One" tells about love, the sweetness that comes with the hardships that every couple has experienced. The film opens with a romantic love story between painter Quang Kha (Han Jae Suk) and doctor Thien Di (Ly Nha Ky). However, just when happiness was budding, an unexpected event struck. A serious, life-threatening traffic accident happened, at the same time the line "love and death always go together" sounded. The story becomes more and more dramatic when Quang Kha wants to go back in time to save his wife. At the same time, a new character takes on an important role, but it is not clear whether good or evil will support him to carry out the above plan.

Linh, an art student, moves to a new house where she encounters a ghost. She helps him to uncover the mysterious cause of his death realizing what’s important in her life.

Things could be better for 8-year-old Hung, who is grieving the loss of his mother who died a year ago. His relationship with his father is strained, his best friend is moving away, and to top it all off, a greedy landlord is bullying his father to force them out of their apartment. He finds solace by watching the night sky from the roof of his apartment building. One night, he witnesses a meteor shower and an errant falling star that lands in the nearby countryside. He investigates, but instead of finding a fallen star, he meets a new friend, and he decides to do everything he can to help her.
