Bahram is a 40-year-old filmmaker who’s spent his entire career making films in Turkish-Azeri, none of which have ever been screened in Iran. His latest work, once again denied permission by the Ministry of culture, pushes him to the edge of defiance. With his sharp-tongued, Vespa-riding producer Sadaf by his side, he embarks on an underground mission to showcase his film to an Iranian audience, dodging government censors, absurd bureaucracy, and his own self- doubts.

A quiet and calm person who grew up in Germany and worked as the responsible manager in a mine transfer facility that had not been functioning for 4 years, Nasip (32) murdered his wife Sultan by strangling her, while she is asleep, but managed to conceal the incident by posturing it as a suicide. Nasip, who is afraid of killing his son İsmail (7) in his sleep at night, tries to protect him by locking his son and himself in different departments of the establishment routinely every night . Determined to commit suicide with the guilt he is experiencing, Nasip, has to find a family for his son that he can trust.

Idris, who has made a habit of coming home late, comes home early that day. He sees his wife trying to wipe the lipstick off of her lips, and at the same time, the window of the house is open in a cloudy sky. The feeling of doubt has already begun to gnaw through Idris like a bed bug.

The little girl who is waiting for good news from her pregnant mother who is taken to city for birth and new born baby sister with her grandparents and the neighbours that came to their home, learns that she has to cauterize her own foot for her new born baby sister's health. The feeling of guilt and responsibility that she feels make her start to trying cauterize her own foot. After the lots of tense, fearful moments she gets caught by her grandmother before she managed it. End of the day she gets good news from her sister and mother but she continues sleeping instead of giving this important news to her grandparents.
