A story about an Uncle who ignored his own life and happiness for his late brothers young son..

A Pakistani Punjabi-language social film directed by Luqman, starring Naghma, Asad Bukhari, Nasira, Allauddin, Asif Jah, Zeenat, and Ajmal.

Centers on the 10th-century princess and poet from Balkh, located in modern-day northern Afghanistan.

Completed in 1991 by the acclaimed director and writer Eng. Latif Ahmadi, "GUMASHTA" stands as a poignant reflection of societal realities, human struggle, and justice. Due to the outbreak of the Afghan civil war shortly after its completion, this film never received its official theatrical premiere. For over three decades, it remained locked away in the archives—an untouched time capsule of a golden era of Afghan filmmaking. Now, for the very first time, the original Final Cut of the film is being presented to the public exactly as it was intended to be seen.
