Guatemala, 2018. The country is riveted on the trial of the military officers who started the civil war. The victims’ testimonials keep pouring in. Ernesto, a young anthropologist at the Forensic Foundation, identifies people who have gone missing. One day, through an old lady’s story, Ernesto thinks he has found a lead that will allow him to find his father, a guerillero who disappeared during the war.

Héctor returns to his town in the Guatemalan highlands after a difficult migration of many years to the north. That trip has left him wounded. With a possessive mother, a young wife who despises him since her abandonment and a young son who does not know him, Héctor will try to adapt, proposing to live as before, repairing lost time, but he runs into a community that has already discarded him. His violent reaction breaks the fabric of his environment, and he discovers that since he left everything has changed, neither Héctor nor his community will be the same.

Ana sometimes lacks the air. His father, Emil, was arrested and disappeared. Now in the silence and fear that remain in a post-war society, Ana is immersed in memory, where the possibility of finding her remains and getting justice for her father and a whole generation is housed.

Molly (35), a trans woman, takes care of her father Manuel in the house she abandoned in her adolescence. When a woman visits him unexpectedly, they are both forced to face their fears and expectations.
