An experimental, character-driven tone poem compiled from excerpts of the unfinished feature film The Waters of Rutherville.

Clara is a successful advertising executive from an upper-middle-class background. Everything is going well until a client at her agency demands a project focused on governance practices. During a meeting, she impulsively invents a story about having a fiancé who owns a fully sustainable farm in the interior of São Paulo. To back up her story, she travels to her hometown and meets Léo through a dating app. The two pretend to be on the verge of marriage, and gradually, they get to know each other and fall in love.

While the rural Virginia town of Rutherville celebrates its annual Waterfest, the community struggles with the recent alleged suicide of a young woman Sarah Marie.

A young man attempts to discover the source of a mysterious phone call, leading him towards a terrifying discovery as his reality begins to unravel.
