Michele is a three-testicle, sexually insatiable man who goes around bedding all women in town (regardless of age), until one day things goes terribly wrong.

A brave and talkative wine merchant, Eugène Barbentin drives his son Pierrot out of the family home, because he has given birth to his girlfriend. While his young wife has just had a serious accident and is undergoing surgery, the husband relives, in his memory, the reality of their near past, or what he would have liked his marital union to be. At the outset, this young couple took as their model the famous couple from "Les Liaisons Dangereuses" and their line of conduct: complete freedom for everyone, as long as they confide in each other about their adventures.

A prompter at the Folies-Bergères and admirer of a lovely dancer, the man named Jules has the unpleasant surprise of finding, one fine morning, the corpse of his beloved in a trunk. An investigation, more burlesque than tragic, will give a lot of trouble to Jules who will have great difficulty in proving his innocence.
