Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, 1950. In the conservative home of the Gusmão family, Eurídice and Guida are two inseparable sisters who support each other. While Guida can share with her younger sister the details of her romantic adventures, Eurídice finds in her older sister the encouragement she needs to pursue her dream of becoming a professional pianist.

Mônica abandoned a promising career in advertising to raise her children, Luíza and Leo, and now, about to turn 40, she is in crisis. Her teenage daughter, a rising digital influencer, no longer admires her. The husband decides to treat his wife to a family trip to the famous Praia Star Resort. This could be the opportunity that Mônica needs to reconnect with her daughter, even if she has to compete in a Miss pageant to do so.

Diogo, a cowboy, meets Rodrigo, a boy who dreams of becoming a cattle herder, when he drives a large herd of cattle to the Ouro Fino farm. They become friends and witness the injustices that occur in the region due to the greed of Major Batista, the owner of the property where they take the cattle.

When he learns of his mother’s death, Thomas returns to Brazil with Beni, his partner, and is told he now owns a country house that used to belong to a grandmother he never met. Curious to connect with his family history, they visit the house and Thomas is welcomed by two aunts that treat him like a long-lost child. As Thomas becomes increasingly enchanted with the place, Beni begins to suspect that something lurks beneath the façade of a quiet country life.

When they discover their town lacks funding for a sewage system, but does have a federal grant to make a movie, a group of villagers decide to make a sci-fi joint about a monster who lives in the building site of a septic tank.

Everything is going well in the relationship between Tony and his nephews until his sister's new suitor appears and becomes the trio's new favorite, making Tony jealous.
