A young Soviet soldier is killed on the battlefield. He wanted to live, but he found himself in another world, which was not written about in any book. Everything he lived by, all his values and memories are in the past. He can only wait for a ticket to a new life and hope that he will be happy.

Rallies in Moscow. At Ivan’s door the bell is rung by a scared stranger who asks “to sit it out for a while”, explaining that she went by a rally and “accidentally” got her share. Vanya lets her in. But at the door an OMON officer turns up, who is looking for the most active protesters. Vanya opens: he has nothing to hide, especially since he hates these “morons shouting outside his window”. To get away, the beauty plays a whole performance before the OMON, involving Vanya; it becomes clear that she is not what she pretended to be.

In pursuit of social status, prestige, and a place in the sun, we often lose real happiness. And so it happened with the hero of the picture. His life changes literally in one day — he finds himself on the seashore, without money and documents. Far from the mundane and familiar patterns of life, he meets amazing people and finds his happiness.
