3 years after the success of ‘The Striped Show’, the world-renowned magician and comedian Rune Klan is back on Danish stages with a new one-man show. His fifth in a row. The comedy and sharp repartee are in a league of their own, but the magic remains the focal point and unique trademark. With ‘Childless’, the charismatic Rune Klan will offer plenty of surprises, new tricks and groundbreaking ideas with his disarming manner, and a constant curiosity for the audience he loves to pamper. Despite his 40-plus years of good living, ‘The Clan’ doesn't yet have children. This, of course, means a lot of free time and plenty of room in the calendar to shame-practice a trick or joke to ultimate perfection.

Rune is not a fan of traditional classic magic shows where you wear a tuxedo, top hat and take yourself very seriously. Paradoxically, Rune has been heavily inspired by the big Las Vegas shows with big props, but that's where the party stops... It's still Rune Klan. The show is called “Rune Klan Goes Large” and that's exactly what he does - magnifies it all up! Rune toured with “Going Large” in 2007.

Contemporary topics with weight are taken up and dealt with. And through magic and in a caustic style, Rune, with his well-known self-ironic distance, makes room for new thoughts.

Jan Gintberg added the following short statement about the show and the title: "I thought I had made it clear! But someone has obviously misunderstood me! I'm going to save the world. Not fucking save it! Our sun will burn out in 4 billion years and already in 1000 years, physicist Stephen Hawking believes that we can no longer inhabit our planet. The festival toilet is, so to speak, filling up to the brim. But until then, the world deserves one last laugh-out-loud comic insight. To have the outer layers combed and coiffed. To be made nice and presentable before we pull the pin. ‘Gintberg saves the world’... That's what I've always said... so listen up!"
