A rancher’s son returns from college in time to help father wage war on a gang of rustlers

Quite a leisurely introduction shows Bobby in the process of collecting one traffic offence after another but the film really gathers momentum when Ray delivers his testimony in court and tells a most elaborate tall tale (very effectively dramatised) to explain how it had happened.

Young New York playboy Stephen Winthrop inherits the entire estate of his wealthy Canadian uncle but pays scant attention to it, preferring the "party" life in New York. He is unaware that the family attorney, Frank Garson, has forbidden hunting on the Winthrop lands in Canada, cutting off the livelihoods of the local villagers. Mary Cartier, goddaughter of the village priest, travels to New York to try to get Stephen to change the policy. He returns with her to Canada, sees what's going on, and lifts the ban, then decides to stay in Canada. Mary returns to New York to try to help Garson's abandoned and ill wife and child, but the wife dies, and Mary brings back the small child to Canada. The villagers, mistaking the child for Mary's, are outraged at this "scarlet woman" flaunting her illegitimate child and attempt to drive her out. Complications ensue.

A story about wild youth is framed in this early musical from Poverty Row company Rayart that includes such songs as “I Want You to Know I Love You”, performed by Ellalee Ruby and Tommy Christian and his band; “Somebody’s Sweetheart — Not Mine,” “Gypsy Love,” and the title tune. Christian plays Tommy, who reluctantly agrees to lead his band at a dance in a speakeasy where Lulu (Lucy Ames) may catch the attention of a Broadway producer. The club, however, is raided by the police and Tommy not only loses girlfriend Betty (Ruby) but finds himself expelled from college. Taking his band to Broadway, Tommy lands a spot in a high-class revue and is soon joined by a repentant Betty. The youngsters sneak away to get married while Jack Clark performs a furious tap dance.

The "Joybell Players" consisting of Jack Cooper, Ethelyn Gibson and Jack Richardson star in this very funny comedy from writer/director Robert Tansey. Producer Billy West was himself a silent film comedian, and was the best-known and most successful Charlie Chaplin imitator.

A murder is committed at a country mansion. All the guests present at the estate fall under immediate suspicion as investigators attempt to solve the mystery before they strike again.

Girl's father who is in sore financial straits because of a corporation man is aided by stranger who reveals that his father was ruined same way by the same person. When this man is found dead suspicion falls on girl's father but the employer of murdered man confesses.

A small-town youth named David Warren who flees to the city after accidentally causing a police officer's death. After falling in with hoboes and a criminal gang, he is tricked into returning home by a girl's fake love scene but ultimately discovers her loyalty.

Outlaw "Dutch" Haynes is extorting money from the ranchers by threatening to blow up the dam that keeps the valley from flooding. To get to that point, Haynes, and his henchmen, have also practiced a little kidnapping, highway robbery, and all-around general connivery. But cowhand James Murdock has been on hand to stop the anti-social behavior, and looks to do so again regarding blowing up the dam.

A saloon on the border between California and Nevada becomes the hideout for "Texas" Jack Slade's gang of rustlers. When the crooks start harassing the nearby ranchers, the town council calls the U.S. Cavalry for help. Two of their best men, Dan Wright and "Jack-Knife" Chandler are sent to wrangle the rustlers. But when they discover that Slade has assembled an army of thugs, Wright and Chandler must call in their fellow cavalrymen for an all-out war.
