Fool Moon

Redheaded Lila is the youngest in a friendly family of arachnids whose untamed imagination gets her into trouble. One day, she falls into a bag of flour while hunting moths, the next, she accidentally releases flies from a farm and hands over her brother's beloved guitar to a fraud. As if that were not enough, an alien spider from the Great Puddle tries to befriend her.

Indian Summer has arrived. Amid the excitement and hustle, Daddy Webster gets sick from the rush and can't spin silk. He must rest. By evening, the family gathers at the festive table and recalls their best adventures of the year.

Men working in a quarry are visited by the foreman's wife. She yearns to have a child, but she sees how hard work has changed her husband. She realizes that the man she loves is able to kill.
