A young adventurer, in the company of two student friends, rushes in pursuit of the "star" granddaughter of a billionaire, who is traveling around Ukraine. The hero must win the girl's heart and receive a million as a "dowry". The guy's path is blocked by: the star's producers, the victim's distrust, unforeseen circumstances, his friends, and... his own feelings.

Little boy Artem with his parents recently moved from a big city to a small Carpathian village. Holidays are coming and, like all children, Artem is waiting for St. Nicholas. And one day Nicholas appears in front of him by his own person. But in fact he's not Saint at all, under his guise an ordinary thief hides himself. Whilst preparing for yet another round of spreading holiday cheer, saint Nicholas discovers an unopened letter that had been sent to him by a young boy named Borys 30 years ago. Now the latter is a sucssesful businessman who had lost the abbility to see the joys and whimsy of life after being severly beaten down by the world around him. The legendary giftgiver enters a race against time to help the broken man regain his childlike wonder, or else one will forever loose the abbility to feel joy and the other, his magical powers.

In this story of a family from a small town in the front zone of the Donbas, a son is worried about his mother, who is tied fast to her small homeland. This is a story about searching for a home and a homeland in your soul and in your heart.

The son of a lumberjack, at his father's behest, cuts down his first tree. The annual rings on the cut surface remind him of a fingerprint. Realizing that he has made an irreparable mistake, the boy runs away into the depths of the forest, where he encounters a living tree that transports him to the Spirit of the Forest. This mysterious creature explains to the boy the true essence of the relationship between man and nature and returns him to his family. Now the boy must convince his father and other lumberjacks to abandon the work they have been doing all their lives.
