Two sisters own the Gul Hotel in an idyllic village in the South of Turkey. During the summer the town is guested by tourists who don't really act in the conservative fashion that the sisters expect. Ferdi comes from a very wealthy family, but has a passion for music. His father sends Ferdi to Istanbul to take care of business matters and allows him to follow his musical dreams at the same time. The film deals with the problems experienced when a man who is released from prison returns home. Tarik is about to get out of the prison he has been in for six years. He married Nurten a few days before he went to prison, but hasn't seen her for years. Nurten lives with Tarık's family after Tarık goes to prison. During the years Tarık was in prison, she became close to her husband's brother Fikret and became pregnant.
