Counted among his greatest tragedies, Shakespeare’s unsettling combination of warring soldiers and ‘weird sisters’ is brought to life in this post-apocalyptic reimagining of the Scottish play. This production, directed by Gemma Bodinetz and starring David Morrissey in the title role, was captured by Digital Theatre live at the Everyman Theatre, Liverpool.

Meanwhile, marriage seems inconceivable for reluctant lovers Beatrice and Benedick whose endless witty sparring threatens to keep them apart forever. Directed by Josie Rourke, Artistic Director of the Donmar Warehouse, Much Ado About Nothing is one of Shakespeare’s great plays and reminds us all of the failings and triumphs of the human condition in our never ending search for perfect love.

One morning, in a lift at Covent Garden tube station, eight people live less than a minute of their lives together, considering how that minute might change them forever. This production of Lift was captured by Digital Theatre live at London’s Soho Theatre. With music and lyrics by Craig Adams, it was nominated for Best Original Score in the 2014 Whatsonstage Awards. It featured a host of star names, including Cynthia Erivo (Grammy and Tony Award winner), George Maguire (Olivier Award winner) and Nikki Davis-Jones. Contains strong language and adult content.

A screenwriter gets conned out of selling a script to a Hollywood producer by his brother, who pitches his own idea for a movie. The damaged relationship between two estranged brothers striving for success is deconstructed in this comedic and tension-filled production at the Tricycle Theatre, London, captured for screen by Digital Theatre.
