The film is based on the real love story of a girl named Vera. Vera is 20 years old and has Down syndrome. She lives with her grandmother and works as a waitress at the Carlson cafe, where people with disabilities work. There she meets her future boyfriend, Sergei Dementyev. There is great serious love between Vera and Dementyev and even physical intimacy, but no one around them takes their relationship seriously.

Sixteen-year-old fat red-haired Masha, an outsider who grew up in a gop environment, is only mocking. Even her family does not take her seriously. But behind the image of the evil-faced schoolgirl lies a vulnerable soul, who simply was not lucky with her childhood.

But in the abode of the non-material God, people live somehow especially honestly, some kind of special real life.

For many years, the Frankoni tent circus has been touring cities in the Rostov region. Over Rostov-on-Don, the roar of military jets flying overhead can be heard, as military trucks traveling along the regional roads. The circus functions as a single organism, where everyone involved has their own story and unique worldview, yet all of them are closely interconnected. Circus attendant Dair is on the brink of receiving a summons and is prepared to go to the front line. However, no one can predict their future.
