In the regiment, she becomes involved with the pilot Alexei Solomatin. Combat victories, losses and personal torments do not change the heroine's strong character, which forever inscribes Lidia Litvyak's name in the history of aviation.

Orphans Dimka and Yaroslav live independent lives. Each of them received a one-room apartment from the state, but the guys decided to live together in order to rent out free living space. Two up-and-coming friends, seeing themselves as the future elite of the new world, oligarchs, they sign up for a major deal, but it turns out that they have been drawn into a massive embezzlement scheme involving billions from the treasury. After his arrest, Andrei ends up in an overcrowded communal cell, a purgatory where he must transform himself into a different person in order to survive and return back to the real world, to his family.

A man goes to see his former schoolmate working at a boiler house and persuades him to burn in the furnace the corpse of his communal flat neighbor whom he has just murdered after a quarrel. An orphaned girl gets a job in the archives of the maternity home to find out the identity of her mother who abandoned her years earlier. She finds her, befriends her and takes the first opportunity to throw her into the sea. An old intellectual tries to explain to the neighbor’s five-year-old daughter “all the abomination of her lumpen existence”. The girl feeling hurt for her mother decides to poison the old man with arsenic.

The films follows a Syrian War Explosive Ordnance Disposal team who are targeted by ISIS militants while they prepare the recently liberated historic site of Palmyra to hold a symbolic concert of the Mariinsky Symphony Orchestra. The peacekeeping event can only be held in Palmyra that has been severely damaged by the terrorists only if the ancient city and the roads leading to it are defused. The EOD team clears the way one kilometer at a time. But the closer they get to the center of Palmyra, the more destructive the explosives. Tension grows between the young team Captain and the most experienced of the EOD experts. And yet, despite their differences, when the team falls into an ambush and the Captain goes missing, it’s the experienced sapper that sets out to search for him.

The crew of “Gromov” spent 133 days of polar night trying to find a way out of their icy trap. They have no room for mistakes; one wrong move and the vessel is crushed by ice.

Military journalist Igor Vladimirov turns to his longtime friend — intelligence colonel Sergey Matveev — for help. Fifteen years have passed since they last met. A quarrel over a woman named Zhenya, whom Igor eventually married, drove them apart. Reluctantly, Matveev agrees to let go of past grievances and visit Vladimirov at his country house.
