Dog days of summer in a Kurdish city in Turkey, two unruly bright twins from a poor neighborhood are distracted by their daily routine and school duties, having an only goal in life: to dive into a proper swimming pool, one in particular, in the luxury site on their way to school. Between them and their dream, a boundary wall and behind it the stubborn and irreproachable watchmen who​‘​s​ everyday their laughing stock. They will start their little own class warfare.

Two years after escaping from an ISIS prison in Mosul, a once successful Turkish war photographer is still a mess. He can’t sleep or forgive his wife for what happened to their daughter while he was away. When Hazar visits a hammam, he is confronted by the man who destroyed his life. But discovering that his former torturer is hiding a secret much greater and more dangerous than any terrorist plot, Hazar realizes his plan for revenge has led him back into the war where people are just game birds forced to fight for pleasure and profit. This time he has brought the cockfight home.

This is an adventurous and ambitious director's story who tries to make a film in the conditions of Turkey. After the making of the film, it followed by censorship, suppression and banning... For what purpose, for what kind of reasons, for whom and why can a film be prohibited?

The life of legendary writer Yaşar Kemal is depicted through his words and those of close friends. Using unpublished footage, audio, and documents, the film portrays his epic journey, literature, and worldview.
