It's summer. Kalle, Eva-Lotta and Anders have formed a gang, the White Rose. They are in playful battle with Red Rose gang. A relative of Eva-Lotta's mother, Uncle Einar, come to visit and Kalle notice immediately that he is behaving strangely. Einar seems to have hidden something in a closed mine outside town. Two mysterious strangers appear.

High school student Margareta fall head over heels in love with a young doctor and announce her engagement to him to her parents. She quits school and move in with him in a large house. However, the life of a housewife soon becomes tedious. Her husband does not want her to study but secretly she enrolls in a high school again to be able to graduate. Her husband suspects funny business when she is spotted with her private tutor.

The tailor Tosse is ordered to return to his old regiment to practice what he learned many years ago. But he asks his assistant Loffe to go there instead of himself. Everything is fine until Loffe gets the same order - at the same regiment. When Tosse comes to the regiment, it becomes a case of mistaken identity.
