New Russian experimental film, which combines fiction and documentary scenes in one continuous narration. The shooting of the film took place in Buryatia - a South-Eastern part of Russia that is considered the center of Buddhism in Russia. In the fictional story a Moscow actress comes to faraway Buryatia to find the man she once loved. She is terminally ill and Buryatia gives her a second chance, she does not believe in miracles, but miracle happens. The real actress Julia Aug, like her character, is also in Buryatia for the first time. The documentary, filmed during the shooting of the film, shows the real Julia's feelings and experiences while she discovers the unique atmosphere, nature and culture of Buryatia.

Based on a story by H.C. Andersen, with new magical heroes, terrifying “woodpunk” robot dogs, real puppet theater, songs & dance numbers. Little Hans, a kind itinerant storyteller, opens his magic box, takes out his puppets, and, together with his spectators, creates a new fairytale. But not every character obeys the puppet master’s strings. The truth of the fairytale breaks everyday rules: here loyalty and friendship make miracles; love destroys the strongest magic spells; and a song wins a war!

Documentary in the form of a musical tragi-musical on the people who live in the four corners of a very vast country. Valechka is a bearded man of gigantic size. He prepares an old tub to descend the Neva and considers his homeland is the Soviet Union. Ivan Ivanovich likes music, the army and Irina Pavlovna. Nika lives in Yalta and goes to school. She considers that her homeland is Russia and wants to serve at the Ministry of the Interior. Macha has chosen college rather than an actress career and she wants to help people. During the filming, the life of each of them has changed. What is their homeland now and in what role do they want to serve it?

Many five-story buildings was built in Moscow during the sixties of the last century. Service life of these houses was designed for 50 years. Now these houses are destroyed in order to build new houses in their place. Digger crushes concrete blocks like cardboard. He looks like a dragon with a long neck. After two or three days dragon will grind house where Sasha and Lena live. But they don't have place to go. Relatives have taken Sasha's apartment ownership forcing him to sign the documents when he was drunk. Now Sasha's sister is ready to buy a room to Sasha, but she not allow him take Lena. Sasha does not agree, Sasha loves Lena. And Iron Dragon is coming.

This cinematic study tells us a story of one of the most famous lamas in Russia and Buryatia, XII Pandido Khambo Lama Dashi Dorzho Itigelov.
