Boris, in a state of deep depression, gets drunk in a bar and meets his childhood friend Kostya. He advises him to enroll in the Society of Optimists Anonymous.

The cartoon tells about a girl who was sent by an evil stepmother to get tortillas and the secret of making them to her grandmother, who lives in the Lafertovo part of Moscow.

To help his mother cope with a problem that requires money, the hero decides to sell his guitar combo, which is with his ex-girlfriend. But this turns out to be not so easy.

How far will one go to preserve the world they are accustomed to… Olya is unshakable to the blows of fate, she always strikes first instead of being hit. Everyone who is not with her is against her. However one day the moment comes when she has to reconsider her view of life…

The main characters of the film are members of the group "Nastya" Nastya Poleva and Yegor Belkin. The half-hour half-documentary tape included footage taken by Balabanov in 1985-1990. In addition to the main characters, the documentary footage captured many prominent figures of Sverdlovsk rock club, in particular Vyacheslav Butusov, Leonid Porokhnyu, and local actors.
