A gangster-in-training kidnaps the daughter of a prominent businessman in an attempt to win his boss' favour, but gets caught up in a web of deceit and conflict.

Balli, a film director, looks for a surrogate mother. Jass, a struggling actor, auditions as Reshma, an item girl, and is chosen. Meanwhile, Jagga, fleeing from MLA’s goons, disguises himself as Jugni. Balli contacts Reshma for surrogacy, while his wife contacts Jugni for the same.

Deputy wants to be a professional actor but has to settle for a minor role in the local Ramlila due to lack of opportunity. Jass is unemployed and in love with a girl who will only marry if he finds a job. Their families are humiliated because of them. Both decide to join their friend Palli in search for a better future and to prove themselves.
