A young artist named Toma begins to feel that his life in Belgrade begins suffocating him, so he sneaks aboard a cargo ship and travels down the Danube, eventually settling on a small island where ha can continue to work on his nature-inspired artworks in peace. Along the way, he meets a number of different characters representing various social groups that call 1950s Belgrade their home.

A pregnant woman receives ultimatums from a supernatural entity to commit murders or face the death of her unborn child.

Ten years after Vlada Divljan's death, the family opens boxes with his belongings. Among other things, they find recordings made with a small camera. Vlada's footage of family life, as well as making music in his room or with a band, along with homemade animated adventures on a deserted island, take us deep into the intimate world of our famous musician.

The main character returns from the prison with a desire to build a normal relationship with his, now, adult daughter who didn't have a father for a long period of her life. When he comes home sees that the daughter ran away from home and that his wife is cheating on him with a friend who also moved into the apartment. Armed with a sarcastic sense of humor he accepts all that and starts searching for his daughter, whom, by the way, does not want to be found.
