A portrait of a couple, living in poverty and prostitution. Couple is joined by a second woman, and problems escalates.

Heartbroken, Maite arrives at a coastal town where the few residents live out their lonely lives. The peace soon disappears, when they come across an unconscious sailor on the beach one day, prompting Maite to decide whether to move forward and create a new life or remain stranded on those shores.

The late 1980s. A young man shoots a film on VHS confronting his landlords, who are trying to kick him out of the house they share. Soon after, in his new apartment, the young man continues the film, this time confronting his ex-girlfriend about an infidelity.

A well-intentioned novice priest tries to stay out of two older clerics' criminal scheme. Until money and a girl come into play.
