But behind the intrigue of lingerie and java lurks a darker side, where female "bikini baristas" struggle with the troublesome and inappropriate behavior of their male clientele. At what cost are merchants willing to foster a culture of sexual harassment and use sex to push profit?

Based on, "On Self-Knowledge" by Khalil Gibran, and set to "Saturn" by Sleeping At Last, "Existence" is a visual poem that captures the irrevocable bond between a boy and his mother. Through breathtaking cinematography of an island untouched by modern life, the film calls us back to the innocence of childhood, and the beauty of the world through their eyes.

Borba u Njujorku was shot in October and November 1976 in New York. The film consists of 12 parts organised around the subject of ‘art and society’, with a strong anti-capitalist message.
