Series of direct-to-video and theatrical movies based the manga "Minami no Teiō"
First in the long-running series starring Riki Takeuchi as Ginjirō Manda, a loan shark in Osaka's Minami district, who shows off his brilliant debt collector skills against numerous enemies.
#2 in the King of Minami series. The relentless Osaka loan shark Ginjiro Manda and his apprentice, Ryuichi, attempt to collect from a failed AV producer, setting into motion a complex series of events involving the yakuza, planned bankruptcy schemes and a wily stockbroker named Yasuda.
#3 in the King of Minami series. Ginjiro Manda sets his sights on a corrupt cop named Tatsuya, who finds himself in debt to Manda after unsuccessfully trying to scam the ruthless loan shark. The pair also find themselves chasing a notorious con artist, who is himself in debt to an even more ruthless real estate tycoon.
#4 in the King of Minami series, featuring two stories from the manga. In "High Interest Marriage," Manda helps a woman pull a reverse marital fraud on the man who took advantage of her. Then, in "Ten Million Yen Woman," a man agrees to pay 10 million yen for a one night stand, but ends up seeking Manda's help to avoid paying his debt.
#5 in the King of Minami series and the second film to be released theatrically. Manda's original apprentice, Ryuichi, resurfaces after being targeted by the yakuza in Kobe. Meanwhile, Manda hounds a factory owner named Yanagida for his interest payments, only to discover that he's only one of many victims of the evil liquidator Gennai, who profits off of other companies' bankruptcy.
#6 in the King of Minami series, following "Ginjiro vs. Liquidator." Manda travels to the Philippines to help a young woman track down the man who orchestrated a scam against her father's office computer business.

When aspiring businessman Chiwaki borrows money from the LA mafia and flees to Japan to escape his debt, he soon finds himself being chased throughout Osaka by the local yakuza and a mafia loan shark. Chiwaki plans to get out of debt by investing in a high-end beauty salon, with a loan from Ginjiro Manda. Soon, Chiwaki finds himself pursued by Manda as well, who is willing to go up against the mafia to get his money back.

But when the club owner turns out to have ulterior motives, Rio turns to Manda for help.
