A trilogy of films about older cops mentoring younger ones and passing on the torch. In part 1, Detective Jo mentors Detective Kang. In part 2, Detective Kang mentors Detective Lee. And finally in part 3, Detective Lee mentors Detective Choi.
An easy-going corrupt detective is partnered up with a younger, more idealistic detective. The two try to influence each other to become more like themselves but must cooperate when faced with a strange case.
