Originally developed as a thirty episode series from ATV, Fist of Fury has been repackaged by Tai Seng on both sides of the Atlantic. The first fifteen episodes have been marketed as a prequel 'Fist of Fury - Sworn Revenge' and the following fifteen episodes as 'Fist of Fury'. The first instalment focuses on Chen's move to Shanghai and becoming the student of Fok Yuen Gaap. The latter explores Japanese colonial treachery and Chen-Jun's quest for revenge after the murder of his master.
After his village it is brutally attacked by bandits, and his family gets murdered, Jun plans on seeking out distant relatives in Shanghai. On the way he is forced to join a criminal gang after they witness his martial arts skills. After a long and arduous journey, Jun eventual finds refuge at the Jin Wu Martial Arts Academy.
In Japanese-occupied Shanghai, Chen-Jun joins the legendary Jin Wu Martial Arts Academy to train as an underground resistance fighter. But when Chen's master is killed by the Japanese, Chen unleashes his skills in an unstoppable fight for vengeance.
