The film centers around Emma Marx (Penny Pax), a woman who is unable to embrace modern-day romantic ideals. Feeling more and more like an outsider as she watches her sister, Nadia (Riley Reid) get swept up into a whirlwind of wedding plans, Emma fears she is emotionally and sexually abnormal. That is, until a chance encounter with a wealthy older man opens her up to a world she never dreamt possible.
