The Rise of the Krays is a 2015 low-budget film about the Kray twins who terrorized London during the 1950s and 1960s. The film was funded by Terry Brown and David Sullivan and was in development before the production team learned of Legend, the blockbuster scheduled for release the same year. A sequel The Fall of the Krays was released in 2016.
Follows the early years of two unknown 18 year old amateur boxers who quickly fought their way to become the most feared and respected villains in London. Told through the eyes of a close friend that survived them, we see them rise to infamy through drugs, sex and murder.
The brutal brothers from Bethnal Green are back and bloodier than ever in Fall of the Krays. Following on from the ferocious Rise Of The Krays, Fall of the Krays picks up the story of the infamous Firm as the cracks start to show in the brothers business plans and their sanity. Having secured their empire and their infamy, the brothers must now fight to keep hold of both as the obsession of one police officer becomes entwined with a burgeoning romance and a dangerous state of mind for Reggie and Ronnie respectively.
