An Indian animated/live-action media franchise and shared cinematic universe based on the avatars of Lord Vishnu. Each film is expected to be released within two years of one another, with Mahavatar Narsimha starting in 2025. A live-action film set in the same universe will be released in late 2027.
Tyrannical demon Hiranyakashyap challenges Vishnu, proclaiming himself a god. However, his son Prahlad remains devoted to Vishnu, who appears as Narsimha to defeat the demon.
The second installment in the Mahavatar trilogy, to focus on the sixth avatar of Lord Vishnu, Parashurama. Plot TBA.
The third installment in the Mahavatar trilogy, to focus on the seventh avatar of Lord Vishnu, Raghunandan, better known as Rama. Plot TBA.
