Deputy wants to be a professional actor but has to settle for a minor role in the local Ramlila due to lack of opportunity. Jass is unemployed and in love with a girl who will only marry if he finds a job. Their families are humiliated because of them. Both decide to join their friend Palli in search for a better future and to prove themselves.
Irresponsible and extravagant, Ranjit Bawa finds himself in a spot of bother when his family withholds his inheritance until he gets married. His search for a suitable bride brings him to Jassi Gill, a marriage bureau owner whose plight is somewhat similar and equally bad. Realising that they have a lot in common, the two men team up to sort out each other's issues, and things take a hilariously interesting turn from this point.
Balli, a film director, looks for a surrogate mother. Jass, a struggling actor, auditions as Reshma, an item girl, and is chosen. Meanwhile, Jagga, fleeing from MLA’s goons, disguises himself as Jugni. Balli contacts Reshma for surrogacy, while his wife contacts Jugni for the same.
