A crime psychological thriller film series about a serial killer who seemingly operates with impunity. The character of Henry is loosely based on real life serial killer Henry Lee Lucas.
Arriving in Chicago, Henry moves in with ex-con acquaintance Otis and starts schooling him in the ways of the serial killer.
Henry has wandered into a small town looking for work and a place to stay. He gets a job delivering and cleaning porto-potties and moves in with a co-worker until he gets his feet off of the ground. Henry and his new friend soon start to kill.
