Series of in-name-only and otherwise unrelated Italian horror sequels that began with the 1988 release of 'Ghosthouse', which was originally released with the title 'La casa 3' to capitalize on the success of the first two 'Evil Dead' films. Finding financial success with this method, it was followed by 'La casa 4 - Witchery' and 'La casa 5 - Beyond Darkness', which were produced for the same distributor, before they concluded the franchise with re-titled versions of 'House II' and 'The Horror Show'.
