Poisonous pterodactyl-like "vampire" creatures are preventing the GALAX Concern from harvesting planet Geona's natural resources. A small GALAX crew, of which two are immobilized by "vampire" bites, do their best to eliminate the creatures. Inspector Yanin has been sent to Geona to assess the situation.
In this, the second part of the Geona series, the complex ecosystem of planet Geona is discovered.
