A baby is saved by Eyang Sinto Gendeng (Cherry Ivonne), because his parents were killed by Mahesabirawa (Yan Bastian), who is angry that his girlfriend is marrying someone else. The baby is trained in martial arts and given a powerful weapon, in the form of an axe. His name is Wiro Sableng (Tonny Hidayat). Then he looks for his father's killer who is rumored to be dead. Only his men led by Kalingundil (Gino Makasutji) are left. Meanwhile, four men, known as the Four Beards from Sanggreng Cave, are also looking for Kalingundil for revenge. So there was a fight between the three parties. Wiro Sableng wins, but his girlfriend, Nilamsuri (Susan Aryani), Kalingundil's daughter, dies.
