Oleksandr Kovsh was born in 1963. He studied directing at Kyiv National I. K. Karpenko-Karyi University of Theatre, Cinema and Television. Worked on a number of national Ukrainian channels, such as «Internews Ukraine», «UT-1», «Ютар». In 2012, he became the chief director of documentaries produced by TRC "Ukraina".
