Ring of Honor's debut in Arizona, it was the first night of ROH's annual WrestleMania weekend shows. Taking place a week before the internet pay-per-view The Big Bang, the From the Ashes featured ROH World Champion Tyler Black taking on Roderick Strong and former champion Austin Aries, his challengers at The Big Bang, in back-to-back matches as part of a personal gauntlet match.
