Documentary about the history of experimental cinema in Spain. FRAGMENTS is a historical survey of “the other” Spanish Cinema — films that brazenly explored their artistic, poetic and conceptual potential. Spanish experimental cinema can be glimpsed in a series of important yet isolated events that FRAGMENTS compiles through various firsthand accounts, film excerpts and documents. The exhibition 'The Complete Letters' features epistolary works defined by cinematographic creation. This is an experimental communication format used between pairs of film directors. Although each director is situated in a location geographically distant from that of their partner, they are united by their willingness to share ideas and reflections on all that motivates their work. Within this space of freedom, the directors featured in the exhibition examine their affinities and differences, within an environment of mutual respect and simultaneity of interests and with notable formal variants established in each of the correspondences.
Tourists eating and taking photos. Tourists strolling and taking photos. Tourists bathing on the beach and taking more photos. Barcelona has become an overexploited photocall to the point of paroxysm, and this is what this film shows by turning the camera and pointing towards the visitors. A small gesture that, added to a powerful sound contrast and a caustic sense of humour, exposes without subterfuge a grotesque normality.

Walking is a form of knowledge, a way of exploring the possibilities and limits of the environment through the body. In the process of humanization, bipedalism symbolically marked the birth of the human species and walking has been an essential activity in the development and life of people ever since. But urbanization and the privatization of natural space make it difficult to walk freely, as do the imperatives of performance, optimization and productivity. “There is no way" reviews some of the anthropological, social and philosophical meanings of walking, and highlights the resistance to this practice today. The visual narration pieces together video and film references and, in particular, the visual documentation of artworks that see the act of walking as an artistic practice.

Through three different moments, between the sixties, the nineties and the present, the director portrays an emblematic place in Barcelona that has gone from being a marginal corner to becoming one of the epicenters of mass tourism. Somorrostro, now the beach, before the neighborhood, is the object of this dialogue between archival and current images that is also the reunion, between frames, of a granddaughter with her grandfather.
