This film was conceived as a continuation of the work of Igor Grigoriev "Holidays of the Revolution", filmed in 1972. The image of the future is the most important theme of the holidays a hundred years ago. Today, in the coming “future,” we are more likely to celebrate the events of the past or the present. Each other is followed by Lenin's birthday, a rock festival, a bow day, New Year, private celebrations. All these days merge into one - “red day”.

"Star genius", "new Gogol", "winged unearthly creature" and at the same time - "hysterical, clamorous", "vain poseur", "underincarnated phantom"... This is how contemporaries characterized one of the most striking figures of the Silver Age - the poet Andrei Bely. This film, consisting of eight parts, represents fragments of Andrei Bely's biography scattered over time. The main women in the poet's life were Asya Turgeneva, Lyubov Mendeleeva, Nina Petrovskaya, Claudia Vasilyeva - the film is also about them.

The film tells about the research of sleep physiology by Ivan Nikolaevich Pigarev, PhD, Professor of the IPPR RAS.

Although Marina Tsvetaeva is known not only for her work, but also for her difficult fate, the painting "Passion for Marina" deserves the interest of even those who believe that nothing new will be told about Tsvetaeva. The film uses memoir prose, letters and notebooks of M.I. Tsvetaeva, A.I. Tsvetaeva, A.S. Efron, G.S. Efron, diaries, memoirs and letters of their contemporaries; fragments of films from the collection of the Gosfilmofond of Russia and the Russian State Archive of Film and Photographic Documents.

In 2001, near Pskov, at an air show, a disaster occurred in front of 10,000 spectators. The crash of the plane, which was controlled by Timur Apakidze, was filmed by dozens of cameras. The film also contains the voice of Apakidze himself, who, shortly before his death, as if anticipating it, managed to talk about how the pilot feels in an emergency flight, being on the verge of life and death. And how painful is the choice between ejection-life and the desire to save the plane.
